Unsolved Multiple Locations for One Client on Moz Local
-
Hello,
I have a client that I want to do local SEO for. They have two locations, both cities in Tennessee. To do this, would I just start two separate locations in Moz Local? Or would that cause a problem, making them look like separate "entities" in directories?

Hi,
It's perfectly acceptable to manage multiple locations for a single client on Moz Local. This feature allows you to optimize and maintain consistent business listings across various locations, ensuring better visibility and engagement. By keeping each location's information accurate and up-to-date, you can enhance local SEO efforts and help customers find the right branch easily. If you need any assistance setting it up, feel free to ask! -
Moz Local allows you to manage multiple locations for one client by creating individual listings for each location. This ensures accurate business information across search engines and directories for all locations. Simply add each location under the same client account and manage them collectively while ensuring local SEO consistency across different regions.

I have similar question:
Currently I'm working on Mobilemechanicmodesto.com and the client asked me for Multiple Locations. What should be my utmost priority? -
Hi, so you will need two Google Business profiles set-up, two different set of NAP (name, address, phone number) make sure the two separate NAP's are mentioned on your contact us page. Then work on improving the rest of your local SEO,

Unsolved How do you use placeholders in Moz Local Descriptions?
I noticed you can use placeholders in your business descriptions in MOZ Local such as |city|, |name|, etc. How do you effectively use these and how do they work on the directories? Thanks!

Solved "Your location could not be saved"
I have several locations on MOZ Local. I haven't had any trouble before, but now when I try to update anything (on any location) I get this error "Your location could not be saved" and if I attempt to navigate off the page it reminds me that my changes won't be saved. ???? I don't see anything wrong with any entries.

Is this normal until all the citations get updated? I just signed up yesterday search?q=yard+dawgs&oq=yard+dawgs&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i59l3j0j69i61j69i60l2.1231j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Does Moz track mobile queries?
Sorry if this has been asked before (searched to no avail), and it's probably a dumb question... but if you're still reading... 🙂 I'd like to determine which pages of my site show up on MOBILE searches (i.e. user is on an iPhone). I know that Moz shows searches "from" a certain location, but my understanding (which may be wrong!) is that the SERP on a mobile device is sometimes different from a desktop search. Ultimately, I'm trying to decide whether to create a whole different layout for my home page ONLY for mobile devices, and if virtually everyone finding my site on a mobile phone would see that page first. I figured if Moz tracked "mobile SERP rankings", then I could simply see if any pages besides the home page are ranking for my targeted terms. Any thoughts or clarifications greatly appreciated! 🙂 ~ Scott

MOZ Local
Is MOZ Local considered a direct competitor to Yext? My company currently uses Yext for its local directory listings, but it is very expensive. Is MOZ Local a superior substitute?

Moz Local Verification
Why is it that when I submit a listing on Moz Local sometimes it does not pull up my Facebook page to verify and only tries to use the Google+, or vise versa? In this particular instance i want it to use the Facebook page because it has all the correct information and the Google+ page is not, but since the Google+ page has a different name it will not verify and let my listing go through. But it matches everything exactly on the Facebook page but is not even pulling up Facebook to option, instead it wants me to change the name of my business which is not correct.
